About ShabuRo

ShabuRo is a hot pot in Palisades Park, New Jersey. It is listed at 520 Bergen Blvd Store #2, Palisades Park, NJ 07650, which places it among the local businesses of Palisades Park that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach ShabuRo at (201) 944-2872; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is shaburo.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 1,593 reviews, which is a strong result for a hot pot in Palisades Park and suggests consistent service.

We dropped by on a windy day for some hot pot. The staff were relatively quick to bring out the meat and seafood, but somewhat slow to fill up on water. The sauces were somewhat labeled, but was confusing on the layout. The fried foods were on the cool side, would like to see those toasty to complement the rest of the place. There were a few selections for ice cream - green tea/ orange/ vanilla, but found these to be quite sweet. The selection of vegetables, fish balls, and mushrooms were quite wide. It was interesting that we could not double order any meat dish.

The food is amazing, flavorful broth and really fresh veggies and meats. The service, non existent. No one came by once to ask if we wanted any refills so the "all you can eat" didn't really apply. Our server forgot our drink and didn't come by to check if we needed anything literally once. I left a tip out of courtesy but really the service was an absolute let down and the tip should have been zero dollars. Also, the place needs a good cleaning. The vents above the table are wildly dirty and where they hang the serving tongs, it's visibly dirty, super gross.

One of my (and my sibling's) favorite places to eat. The food is unbelievable and it's an incredible price for the amount of food you can get. If you decide to not get any meat and just get the broth, it's even MORE bang for your buck. The service is great as well. You just pay for the broth and meat (if you decide to get some), and then you're free to get anything you want from the buffet, as much as you want. The veggies are delicious, all the different meats are amazing, and all the little things you can add to your broth just make the whole experience so enjoyable! To top it off, as you leave, you're allowed to help yourself to some free frozen yogurt. This place truly covers all the bases you could think of. I would recommend ShabuRo to literally everyone. If you're looking for some place to get hot pot, this is the place!

Authentic Hot Pot Experience with Exceptional Service! 🍲✨ ShabuRo is a must-visit for any hot pot enthusiast. From the quality of the ingredients to the welcoming atmosphere, my partner and I had a fantastic dining experience here. The Broth & Ingredients: The variety of broths is excellent. I highly recommend the Spicy Dashi Broth, Vegetarian broth, for those who like a clean but flavorful kick. My partner opted for the Spicy Pork Bone Broth, which was rich and savory. Freshness: Every selection of meat and seafood was incredibly fresh. Sides: The vegetable and noodle bar is well-stocked and crisp, allowing you to customize your pot exactly how you like it. Drinks: Don't miss out on the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea—it was the perfect sweet pairing to the spicy broths! Service & Language: The staff here is truly welcoming and attentive. If you need assistance, they are quick to help the moment they are free. A personal highlight for me was being able to practice my Korean with one of the servers. He was so patient and understood me perfectly, which made me so happy! It’s rare to find a place where the service feels so personal and encouraging. The Grand Finale: Whatever you

My second visit here turned out amazing once again. The meals are rich in taste, choices are plenty, and the price for all-you-can-eat feels just right. The crew stays attentive, warm, and makes you want to return soon. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
